According to the Supplier Quality Policy :

Schneider Electric understands that its suppliers constitute one of its main advantages faced to its competitors. Onlyi a common effort allows ensuring the total satisfaction of the customers, the shareholders, personnel and civilian society.

Schneider Electric puts great expectations in its suppliers and makes sure that these expectations are perfectly understood by the suppliers.

Schneider Electric commits itself to ensure the selection, development, implication and follow-up of its suppliers in the respect of our Supplier Quality Project.

The purpose of the Supplier Quality Policy in Schneider Electric is the improvement of the Customers' Satisfaction.

Achieving this objective passes by meeting the needs and expectations Schneider Electric's entities that depend on external suppliers. The commong procedures and tools of Supplier Quality are developed to allow:

· a permanent improvement of products and services,
· fulfilling Schneider Electric's commitments towards its suppliers,
· fulfilling the suppliers' commitments towards Schneider Electric,
· respecting a strict deontologic code,
· the obligation to achieve results both internally and externally.

Schneider Electric's Supplier Quality Policy is based on 7 principles :

· Schneider Electric pays a permanent attention to its suppliers, the integrity of our commitment and our attitudes are crucial, transparency is a necessary condition for an efficient dialogue, measuring the suppliers' attitudes allows a reliable and formal identification of the points to improve, Processes of Obtention of Products and Services (POPS) are clearly defined, shared, managed and implanted.
· Schneider Electric values its suppliers' exemplary realizations ; only having a common vision with our suppliers we shall be able to better ourselves and improve.
· Schneider Electric's Supplier Quality Policy is based on the Dynamic Quality concept.
· Suppliers' quality is planmed.
· Suppliers' quality is preventive.
· Suppliers' quality is reactive.
· Supplier Quality Policy helps strengthening Schneider Electric's commitment towards the communities, within which it is implanted, and in favor of the Sustained Development concept.
